The last two days when i have cold started the first 5 seconds has a nasty, loud rattle
Before i start digging into this i was wondering if anyone had a similar ticking/knocking noise when cold starting It happens most the time on cold starts after sitting overnight and sometimes. I have a similar noise that sounds like it's coming from the passenger footwell area Goes away after a few seconds and like you, only happens when i first start it and then not all the time.
